On January 16, 2025 at 00:49 am UTC, our service experienced delays in processing messages coming from asynchronous channels: WhatsApp and Facebook. This resulted in a large backlog of messages in our processing queues. The investigation revealed that the delays were related to a malfunction in one of our databases, which directly impacted the response times of one of our main messaging services. Our services were restored on January 16, 2025 at 00:55 am UTC (Service downtime: 6 minutes).
